Content Focus

Ensure your presentation is clear, concise, and focused on your core findings.
Provide a solid motivation, highlighting your research problem, methodology, and results.
Use visual aids (charts, graphs, diagrams) to make complex data more acceptable and clear.

Timing & Q&A Session

Your total presentation should strictly run for 10 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for Q&A.
Rehearse to ensure your presentation stays well within the allotted limit, and maintain a steady pace throughout.
5 minutes will be dedicated to Q&A after your presentation to address audience questions (whether from physical attendees or virtual participants).
Engage with the audience constructively and welcome suggestions.

Visual Aids & Technical Setup

Keep slides clean and uncluttered. Use readable fonts, high-contrast colors, and bullet points.
Provide clear visual representations to clarify data, particularly for online viewers.
For Online Presentations: Test your Zoom/virtual session setup in advance. Ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection work faultlessly. Keep your presentation materials (PowerPoint, PDF) ready for sharing.
For In-Person Presentations: Arrive at the session venue ahead of time to check compatibility with the environment (projector, laptop, or media player).

Professionalism & Time Management

Dress professionally and maintain a calm demeanor while presenting your research material. Speak clearly and maintain a steady pace.
Keep track of time during your presentation. Moderators will notify you when you have minutes left.
Make sure to conclude within the 10-minute window.

Additional Guidelines for Online Presenters

Zoom Etiquette: Join the session at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Mute your microphone when not speaking to avoid background noise. Ensure you have a clean and quiet environment during your presentation.
Screen Sharing: Familiarize yourself with the platform's screen-sharing function. Limit notifications to avoid distractions during the session.
Backup Plan: Keep a backup of your presentation available in case of technical difficulties. In case of connectivity issues, notify the session organizer immediately to reschedule or accommodate your session.

In-Person Sessions at Premier University, Chittagong, Bangladesh

In-Person Interaction: Engage directly with the audience during the Q&A session. Use body language and eye contact to maintain a connection with the attendees.
Presentation Room Setup: Ensure that your equipment (laptop, microphone, projector) is functioning correctly. Familiarize yourself with the room layout so you can interact both with on-site attendees and, if applicable, remote participants.
